Associate Membership is available to estate liquidators with at least one year of professional experience. It is also available through the eligible ASEL courses listed below.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for Associate Membership, applicants must:

• Have at least one year of professional estate liquidation experience or successfully complete an eligible ASEL course
• Complete the Associate Membership Application and Agreement
• Agree to follow the ASEL Code of Ethics
• Provide three professional references
• Confirm compliance with the business registration, licensing, permit, and other operating requirements that apply in their location
• Pay the applicable membership fee

Membership Fees

• First year: $150
• Annual renewal: $99

Membership must remain active and in good standing to maintain member benefits, use the ASEL membership logo, and appear in the Find a Liquidator directory.

Courses That Include Associate Membership

Successful completion of any of the following courses includes the initial year of Associate Membership:

• Estate Liquidation Business Start-Up
  • In the course registration form, select ‘Home Based Course’ (previous course title).
• Estate Liquidation Fundamentals
  • In the course registration form, select ‘Expand Your Business Course’ (previous course title).
• Estate Liquidation Fundamentals for Senior Move Managers and Professional Organizers
  • In the course registration form, select ‘Senior Movers & Organizers’ (previous course title).

After the included membership year, Associate Membership may be renewed at the current annual renewal rate.
